The short version

HealthyNotch does not collect, transmit, or store any of your data outside your own Mac. There is no account, no server, and no analytics SDK in the app. Checkout is handled by Polar so they can email your license key and receipt.

What HealthyNotch stores

Water intake, completed nudges, and goal settings are kept in standard macOS app preferences on your disk. Nothing is synced to a server.

No accounts

The app never asks you to sign up. Polar checkout needs an email so it can send your receipt and license key — that is not an app account, and it is not used for health data.

No Apple Health

HealthyNotch does not read from or write to Apple Health.

Accessibility permission

Used only to detect when your cursor hovers near the notch so it can expand.
